This piece is part of a series of interchangeable earrings and brooches created by Canadian metalsmith Aggie Beynon in collaboration with paper artist Shellie Bender. Aggie Beynon is a Canadian metalsmith and jewelry designer known for her innovation in powder metallurgy. These stylish earrings feature a sterling silver and niobium setting that supports a paper centerpiece. The handmade paper is dyed with a brilliant blue pigment and asymmetrically folded, resulting in a visually dynamic piece of art jewelry.
