New limits reflect rising costs and growing demand for digital materials. Starting January 5, 2026, the maximum number of ebooks and audiobooks members can place on hold in OverDrive and the Libby app will change from 15 to 10. This new limit is designed to help reduce wait times and let you get items faster.

The parking lot at the Preston location will be closed beginning the week of November 20 for an extended period due to building repairs. However, on-street parking will be available on King Street. Additionally, you can use the Dover Street parking lot, located at 131-139 Dover Street North, which offers limited-time free parking. For more information on your parking options in Preston, please refer to the Public Parking in Preston Towne Centre map.
